The shores of the Solent are bounded by a number of local authorities, a full list of which can be found by clicking the link bleow this image. Most, if not all of these authorities are responding to central government dictates by developing long term plans for the development of new housing.
For example, the current Draft Local Plan for 2036 developed by Havant Borough Council shows delivery of 11,000 additional home over the next seventeen years.
