Membership and Donations

Please consider becoming a member of the Society.

Members will receive occasional invitations to talks by a variety of speakers throughout the year.  These talks follow the regular SPS Council Meeting, normally held in Southampton with most of the Council present, giving you the opportunity to meet with us and discuss matters of interest. We also plan to introduce a new series of online talks for the 2022/2023 autumn and winter season to which members will receive invitations.

Members also receive invitations to the Society Annual General Meeting and to our annual late summer ‘Away Day’, for which a tour, lunch and a speaker – sometimes afloat, sometimes ashore – is organised. Members will also receive a printed copy of the Society’s annual newsletter.
