The Solent Protection Society, which aims to protect the environment of the Solent for future generations, has revamped its website.
A clickable map of the Solent area has now been added on the Home Page to improve navigation of the website and viewers can sign up for RSS feeds to find out the latest Society news.
Solent Protection’s website is getting ever more popular, says the Society’s Chairman, Jeremy Clark. There are a lot of interesting things going on in the Solent area at the moment and the Society tries to keep its members informed of its many activities. We recently held a very successful conference at Beaulieu on the future of the Solent Saltmarshes and, of course, there is the ongoing situation with The Marine Bill, Lymington Ferries, East Head etc. All that information is updated regularly on our website.
You do not have to be a member to access the Society’s website but the Charity welcomes new members and now has a secure online joining facility.
